Ever needed to practice a talk before a barcamp or a conference? Work out rough spots with a friendly audience? Get comfortable whiteboarding your chalktalk? Polish your stage presence while using a clicker and a prezi/slide show? Want to see how horrible you look on video when you can still do something about it?
Me too. Toastmasters doesn't do it for me. Among other things, they nearly always lack the presentation tools and facilities. And power and broadband. So I thought of coworking spaces. Does this sound like an appropriate use of a coworking meeting room? A good fit with the coworking community? Is this sort of thing generally interesting or am I out in left field on this with the other Slideshare and Ignite dorks?
