The meetup is simply named: http://www.meetup.com/Fort-Collins-Coworking/ Nothing fancy there since we haven't picked a name yet and I'm using the coworking logos provided on the wiki for now.
Not sure how to answer the "regional or if there is more of a cross- sectional key component to the tipping point." I think anytime you provide an opportunity for smart, creative, open minded people to get together to create something together, it's just going to work. I used my personal network a lot as well as getting involved in tech meetups in the area and unconferences. Plus, I think Fort Collins was literally dying to have a coworking space.
