Hi all! It's been a long time coming, but we're finally able to open a space! Wayne and I signed the lease yesterday for a beautiful space in the heart of downtown Toronto. 102 Adelaide St E is an historic building (almost 200yrs old) which has been very well cared for over the years. We have a stunning view of a beautiful park, steps to major transit and great neighbourhood amenities, and easy access to highways. The space itself has one main workspace and two meeting rooms (one that will be set up as a boardroom and one with soft seating for a more casual meeting room).
There is very little to do to the space, just taking down a few walls and fixing up the dark wood floors. We have some pictures on our space page and on our latest blog post at http://bit.ly/azTkMn, but those will be swapped out for better pics once the renos are done and we get the space filled with furniture. We get the keys to the space on Mon, and as of Feb 15 Camaraderie will be open for business! We are so excited and we really couldn't have done it without the guidance, encouragement, and wisdom of this group. You've been very helpful and friendly - camaraderie at its absolute finest!
