Hi Kim, Interesting you bring this up - I am a WAHM myself, and have had the same desire/need up in the northern suburbs of Chicago. I have contemplated leasing some space to start a coworking facility also, but am really just starting by getting a group together once every 2 weeks to cowork at a local restaurant with lots of space and free wi- fi. I'm hoping that a tight community will grow out of this group in time and that together we'll pursue a space of our own, but for now this gets me out of the house for a couple nights out of the month.
As far as having nice space to meet with clients, etc., you can usually find private rooms at a local Panera or community college that are free and reservable to hold these types of meetings. I know not quite as convenient as having a space of your own to meet/talk/ collaborate, but the cost/risk is a lot lower. -Heather -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Coworking" group.
