Hi everyone! I've been meaning to join this group for a while and I've been reading so many of your messages as I prepare to open a creative coworking space in the O-NE called CAMP. My name is Megan Hunt and I am a bridal designer, project designer and blogger. I've lived in the Omaha area my whole life and I spend a lot of time working with other local creatives and entrepreneurs. About a year ago, a group of friends and I started meeting around town to get out of our basements and spare bedrooms and work together. When we worked in the same space, our work time was more productive and our play time was more fun. We took steps a few months later to find a space to lease together but that never worked out. I kept looking and I decided to buy a place in downtown Omaha and it made sense to turn it into a coworking space for Omaha and my friends are joining me as the first tenants.
So now we're finding ourselves about two weeks away from opening and I thought I should kind of announce my presence on the list.
