I had an interesting exchange with someone who really wanted us all to know how great their online design company is. The exchange was fascinating and entertaining enough to share. We never did agree on the exact definition of "spam". It's clear there is a language barrier beyond terms. Who knows, maybe Station C will get a visit soon and discover it's the best damn online marketing tool known to man and we'll all be saved. Hard to tell from this interaction. Hope you find it interesting too. Critiques welcome.
9:30 AM - Jacob Sayles I need a little more to know you are not a spammer. 8:54 PM - Aria Kerry You can't call me like a spammer. How do I assure your for that? 9:22 PM - Jacob Sayles That's funny. Where are you from? 9:23 PM - Aria Kerry Quebec, Canada. 9:25 PM - Jacob Sayles Excellent. Are you associated with a space up there? You are approved as a writer so you can edit the wiki as needed. Thank you for being patient with me. We are trying to cut down on spam. If you are ever in Seattle, please come in and say hello. :) 9:27 PM - Aria Kerry Please provide me valid URL to join that workspace. Thanks. 10:07 PM - Jacob Sayles You just spammed us! Why did you do that? 10:11 PM - Aria Kerry What you mean regarding what you are saying I spammed? 10:14 PM - Jacob Sayles How is updating our wiki with your online design company have anything to do with coworking? The point of the wiki is coworking. Are you associated with any coworking spaces? Are you just confused and trying to get more links to your site? That is spam. 10:19 PM - Aria Kerry Ok sir I'm getting your concept. But you are taking that links to spam. I just wanted to show about my designing trends and stuff like that. So i putted my links in that Resources area that does'nt means that I'm a spammer. If you allow me to co work I can show at side bar or else anywhere. 10:28 PM - Jacob Sayles This page is for coworking, and coworking only. I do appreciate your insights. It's clear the term "spam" is not universal. I am working to keep the wiki on topic and your services have nothing to do with coworking so I have blocked you. I suggest you try making relationships, real, in-person relationships, with individual sites near you. Face to face does wonders for credibility. If you want to find coworking spaces to work out of there are a number listed on the wiki. Please let me know if you see any spam that makes it difficult for you to find a coworking space. 10:30 PM - Aria Kerry Ok thanks! You people still have cheap thinking. Well.
