Hello,
Some months ago I joined this group, because I expect to start as space owner near Barcelona, in Spain, and I needed to learn from others experience. I’m gratefull with you, because the hyperactivity of the group has allowed me to have an insight in the ethics and economics of the co-working. Meanwhile, following other interests, I have started a blog were I’m collecting the basics, according to the existing literature, about the low performers ( www.lowperformer.blogspot.com), a fenomena with a very high impact in the conventional organizations. I would like to make it wider minded, taking also into consideration the way that low performers impact when working in the society of knowledge. A co working place can’t be strictly considered an organitzation, but a way of organizing, with a high exposure to the behaviour of the members. I have no personal experience, but I supose that some people is disturbing others, because of talking too much, lack of order, lack of cleaning, lack of organization....., having the attitude of a space renter, instead of a pure co worker... I propose you four steps: - List the characteristics of a low performer in a co-working space. In my blog you can read the ones in a conventional organization. To avoid disturbing the normal evolution of the group I propose you to send your comments and proposals to [email protected], but it is up to you. - Mid September I will ask you if you have other concerns or points of interest about co-working, to include in a poll. - Beginning October I could forward you a link to a poll, in the internet, asking you to distribute to anyone involved, were to collect the answers. - Somewhere in November make available the results Does it sounds interesting ?
