I tweet this all the time: #coworking = #telecommuting = #telework. Maybe
someday it will sink in!

See my blog entries on Telecommuting, Coworking here:
http://altamontcowork.com/blog/cool-links/telecommuting/

And my most recent rant:
http://altamontcowork.com/blog/2010/07/19/what-is-coworking/

We need to get people off the roads! It does not seem to be
working...commuters commute because their OFB's think "telecommuting" =
"goofing off". Until that stigma goes away the commuters will be forced
follow the red lights ahead of them....then 2 hours later, sit in a cubicle
and do EXACTLY the same work they could have started 2 hours before closer
to home. It is FRUSTRATING, that so many employers cannot see the
light.....and I've been in this for over 20 years now....

Coworking may help...it is an "office". But with thousands of commuters
passing by everyday....not one is a member. And in our case we have
standards based videoconferencing so the telecommuter / coworker can been
seen, attend meetings, etc etc.

Sorry for the rant....I feel better? [?]
