OMFG! It's a great conversation! =) I do agree with you all whom prefer only wiki, blog and google group. I love the KISS way of life.
I like Facebook, Linkedin and other communities, buy they are so hard to maintain. They're annoying. =/ Have you ever heard about Small Acts Manifesto (www.smallactsmanifesto.org)? I've already introduced it in another thread. It's a movement start by Brazilian people. The same people who be part of this movement are members of some groups about Coding Dojo, Python and Ruby languages, entrepreneurship and so on. Lots of these same people have personal and community blogs as well. We use the group to discuss, each one blog to spread to the world his thoughts, and of course, we do events and meetings to talk to each other, to have beer, to practice personal contact and improve our social skills. I love and hate the internet at the same time: love because it connect people from around the world but hate because it appears that people are doing less personal contact. =( One of the best things when you do Coworking is personal contact and the big power of met new people. It's amazing! So, coming back to the discussion. I prefer only wiki, blog and this "so very big awesome" discussion list. =) Have a nice day you all!
