At our (yet to open) Urban ReThink space in Orlando, we are planning a
tool we call the Resource Library - part of it is all about featuring
our members, and helping them bring their reputation with them.
Similar to LinkedIn, but with more emphasis on individual projects
where applicable. LinkedIn is only so good for freelance workers or
small companies. My job title does not change very often, but I work
on lots of projects.
Another interesting tool is YouNoodle.com, which focuses on startup
companies. If you haven't seen it, it's a pretty interesting tool.
I am hoping to be able to package up our site and distribute it as a
downloadable application in a few weeks/months. In future phases, we'd
also like to have it keep the schedule for checking out rooms and
reserving the space for larger events, and taking donations. Right
now, we're starting with the member directory and resource library.
Peace,
Ryan Price

Hi all,
Just put on the table some ideas that come to my mind :-)
For those who want to push further the collaborative approach of the
coworking visa...what do you think about a collaborative tool where we
can have a presentation of all the members of our coworking space
(skills, etc.), collaborative tools...management tools (on the cloud).
Based on open source? can be an open source project?
Warm regards,
KSY
