Hello and early Happy New Year! I just wanted to say a quick hello and introduce myself. I am an Animator and Web Designer in the borough of Queens, New York City. My background in animation has had me working as a Lead Animator on a variety of television shows such as Blue's Clues and Pinky Dinky Doo, commercials, motion comics, games, and the like. For the past 3 years, I've been working mostly from home, concentrating in animation, as well as web design for artists and small business clients. I love having a home office but at the same time it can be a bit lonely and I miss that collaboration and supportive community that being around other creative types can provide. Also just being around real in the flesh people - the computer is a poor substitute. As far as I know, there majority of co- working facilities here are in Manhattan. Does anyone know of any in Queens, or how I might find out about them? Starbucks and Panera just aren't cutting it :)
