Dear Coworking Community, It's been a long time since I have visited the group. I am still a big fan and advocate of coworking, but I have been on a different path for a bit and am mostly offline these days. Anyway, Cubes&Crayons just celebrated 3 successful years (YEAH!) and with that, I have come to the difficult decision that it is time to sell it. There is a high probability that this time next year I will be out of the country for 6 - 9 months, and I would prefer to see someone else own and continue to build Cubes&Crayons than for it to disappear. I would love to see it go to another coworking believer.
We are: - profitable - located in Silicon Valley - have possibilities to expand to additional locations - have a fantastic staff (who runs the place; at this time I take a nice little check home each month for about 5 hours a month of work.) Our childcare side is very strong. A new owner could probably increase the profit margin by cultivating the coworking community better than I have done. So, we have employed a broker and are officially on the market. I am open to selling just the Mountain View location and/or the brand/software.
