hi, we have had a couple of local PechKucha nights and presented at the last one too (see my presentation and others here: http://vimeo.com/16638484 ).
they are great fun and people seem to enjoy the format. Our next one is on 2 feb. We are holding them at different local venues which is what people seem to want - they also want a bar too - which helps things get going quickly.
