Hi, Dave,

Here in Europe, if I have the story straight, Cisco helped to found
the Smart Work Centers, which used to be something like (I guess you
would call it) captive coworking -- shared office facilities for Cisco
related folks only) and is now involved in several initiatives
including what appears to be the adiition of private, existing
coworking sites to their network -- though I have to add, I have
myself contacted them repeatedly with no response. Their vision
appears to be more like Regus and less like coworking, though -- or at
least, all the smartwork centers certified in this area are either
Regus locations or hotels. I assume that this is because those are
the folks with the connections and/or the time to work their way
through the corporate maze to locate the people who are active in this
area, but I am not sure.

IBM used to have -- and I assume they still do -- what they called
Mobility Centers, which are similar I believe, though as I recall
employees are allowed to bring visitors.

Keep us posted, sounds interesting
