The Wix Lounge in New York takes the idea of coworking in another
direction. Wix is a consumer-facing web company that provides free work
space (no conference room) to anyone who's willing to deal with inconsistent
access (they do a lot of events). A friend of mine works out of there and it
meets her needs but barely. There is a community manager but everyone is
only there temporarily so I doubt there's a large coherent community, but I
could be wrong.

Using 'spaces' as branding tools seems like a no-brainer to me. Adobe art
spaces, Chipotle commercial kitchens, Nike gyms, Facebook bars, Google
coworking...? Is anyone tracking the emergence of coworking spaces as
branding assets? Is this a topic people are interested in following?
