Saying that coworking makes you more intelligent ripens the vine for cargo cult-ing. Simply being in a coworking space doesn't grow more advanced brain cells. Just like sitting in the lobby of a gym doesn't turn you into a body builder.
You need to participate in the act of coworking, not just attend a coworking location. Also, among my favorite bi-products of the act of coworking is not *needing* to be smarter, though. I love that I'm surrounded by people wo are smarter than me, at different things than the things I'm smart about, and that they are motivated to be supportive, helpful, etc. Personally, I think that's more fun than being more intelligent, more wealthy, more anything - the "more" of anything you are, the more likely you are to be that thing, alone. What good is it to be super smart and have nobody to talk to? What good is it to be super-rich but have nobody else who can afford to hang out and do the things you like to do.
