Valeria! I am also starting a coworking space. I am in New London, CT. I don't have a space yet. I'm really focused on building a group of coworkers first and then getting the space. A lot of people don't know what coworking is. The first thing I did was make up a flyer and a survey on surveygizmo to get a feel for what people were thinking. I posted this flyer around town. I posted a ton of info on coworking on my facebook newsfeed and on twitter. An editor of a small mag called Grace Magazine saw it and contacted me. Long story short, she was very interested and offered to interview me. The article was online and people started to contact me regarding it. I also offer to meet with people one on one so I can explain the concept and people are very receptive to it. Another reporter has contacted me also and the article should be coming out soon. My expertise is not in marketing or business, but I do know how to connect with people. I think its all about making those small connections first and the big connections will come.
