A start would be these two questions to all existing spaces: 1. how many and who offer what exactly in terms of childcare/spaces adapted to being child-friendly? 2. What has been requested by your (prospective) members: play area, changing tables, daycare by the hour, etc etc? And yes, Julie, that 'working from home with a little one' brought me to coworking ;-) When I declared my intention to open a family-friendly community centre with office facilities back in September 2006 at The Shire in Nova Scotia, I had no clue what coworking was ... I presented my dream and then Maria from The Hub Islington walked up to me and said, hey, why don't you open a hub! Since then I've taken a detour via managing a daycare from fall 2006 until last year September, and am now (back to) focussing on a child/family-friendly coworking space! yallabina, as it's called in Arabic, let's go!
