I am SO happy I stumbled upon this group! For a business school project, I am researching the feasibility of starting my own coworking space in NYC. So far my research has involved interviewing random strangers "working" at Starbucks (presumably my target market).
I would really appreciate your input on these questions: - What membership size should I target for a 2000 sq ft space? Is it reasonable to aim for 50 members? It sounds like a lot to me but, they won't all be there at the same time. - How did you manage to keep attrition low? - Did you have any unforeseen expenses and what were they? - What kind of insurance did you need for your space and how much did it cost?
