We've had 4 startups come out of The coIN Loft since last year. We
weren't trying to be innovative and we definitely weren't looking to
start new companies. We were just living life in community with each
other. One of the startups got $500,000 in angel financing.

When we started last year we thought we could make a startup community
happen. We should have listened to Alex because we almost had to close
our doors. We learned the hard way that our plans would never work,
that the needs of the community will always supersede the projections
of a business plan, and now our space is growing again.
