Fellow coworkers! I wanted to reach out and remind you all of the Coworking Awareness Team project to build a better database of great coworking stories. The idea is simple: collect short summaries of great things that happen within coworking spaces to that they can help paint a much more interesting picture of what coworking is really about worldwide.
The idea came from a growing frustration that the boring stories tend to be the ones that the press shares first: the "stuff" in the spaces, how coworking "saves you money," or how much square footage is around. We want to enable the sharing of the more interesting stories - how people connect with one another, how quality of life increases, an how unexpected things happen from putting coworkers in a room together.
