What an awesome list. Tons of stuff from my recommended reading list. We've got a bunch of bookcases of donated books as well. There's no formal checkout process.
One of the fun experiences we have is when somebody borrows a book for what they feel is "too long" and so they buy a new copy on Amazon and have it shipped to the office. This happens...more often than you'd expect :) It might be fun to put a sign by the bookshelves that encourages people to bring in a book of theirs to "hold the place" of the book they are borrowing. It'd be a great way to encourage sharing and never have a library that's "all checked out". -Alex /ah indyhall.org coworking in philadelphia On Wed, Mar 21, 2012 at 12:09 PM, Josh Clemence <[email protected]>wrote: > We started out library with the following and have 40 donations since: > > Start With Why – *Simon Sinek* > Enchantment – *Guy Kawasaki* > Crush It! – *Gary Vaynerchuk* > The Smashing Idea Book – *Cameron Chapman* > The “Longer” Long Tail – *Chris Anderson* > The Facebook Effect – *David Kirkpatrick* > Tribes – *Seth Godin* > Rework – *Jason Fried & David Heinemeir Hansson* > Delivering Happiness – *Tony Hsieh* > Built to Last – *Jim Collins & Jerry I.
