What an awesome list. Tons of stuff from my recommended reading list.

We've got a bunch of bookcases of donated books as well. There's no formal
checkout process.

One of the fun experiences we have is when somebody borrows a book for what
they feel is "too long" and so they buy a new copy on Amazon and have it
shipped to the office. This happens...more often than you'd expect :)

It might be fun to put a sign by the bookshelves that encourages people to
bring in a book of theirs to "hold the place" of the book they are
borrowing. It'd be a great way to encourage sharing and never have a
library that's "all checked out".
