Hello, I am part of a group of folks exploring the development of a coworking space in Las Vegas dedicated to content creators. At the heart of the planned space is a video production facility (sound stage, edit bays, etc.), screening room and, perhaps a live performance space along the lines of the People's Improve Theatre (PIT) in NYC. The idea is to provide all of the core assets required by small, start-up production companies, multimedia artists (filmmakers, photographers, VFX artists) and live performers (actors, comedians, musicians, etc.).
We've been exploring the idea and building community for around four months and things are looking very positive. I've been hunting around for other such spaces around the world to act as a model and, with whom we might be able to network. So far, I've compilied the list below.
