Hey Y'all. It's still early, but GCUC (http://www.austingcuc.com/2013/) is really only 5 months away.
I'm thinking about renting out the swanky hotel in South Austin that I rented last year for the 4 nights leading up to SXSW, including GCUC. That's March 3rd - March 7th. My thought is to make it a more intimate hang-out "retreat" for a couple of nights before the big international event. The hotel will be around (but possibly less than) $250/night per person for 4 nights, but ask anyone who stopped by while Indy Hall inhabited it last year…it's amazing. The hotel sleeps ~14, so it'll be a small group. But I can only have them hold it for another day.
