There were very few Coworking Spaces. In those days, we set up the German CoWorking Directory<http://www.coworking-news.de/coworking-verzeichnis/> and we initiated<http://www.coworking-news.de/2009/08/treffen-der-coworking-initiativen-am-05-oktober-in-meiningen/> the connection and exchange of German Coworking Spaces<http://www.coworking-news.de/2009/10/video-zum-treffen-der-coworking-initiativen-jetzt-online/>, which resulted in the first Coworking Week<http://www.coworking-news.de/2010/09/113-veranstaltungen-zur-coworking-week-2010-eine-nachbetrachtung/> in Germany. In November 2010<http://www.coworking-news.de/2010/11/coworking-news-presents-european-coworking-directory/>, we launched the European CoWorking Directory<http://www.coworking-news.de/european-coworking-directory/>. On the turn of 2011 to 2012 we formulated the evolution of coworking<http://www.coworking-news.de/2012/01/coworking-evolution-coworking-goes-free-coworking/> with “free coworking”, which resulted in the Free Coworking Map<https://www.google.com/fusiontables/DataSource?docid=1_IxC9nIy3gwBkhEmhKcof6r1nxDr-NfGyqhIhP4&pli=1#map:id=3> and the massive growth of the Coworking Calendar<http://www.coworking-news.de/coworking-kalender/>, that we had started in April 2011.
