Greetings! I'm leading a group of Ph.D students from Claremont Graduate University in a qualitative study of coworking spaces and their members. This is for a class project but may be the foundation of a larger research effort We're looking for a couple of coworking spaces in the greater Los Angeles area to work with for our study. Participation basically consists of sitting down for an interview (as an owner or manager of a space) with myself or one of my colleagues. We would then work with you to schedule a handful of interviews with interested members of your space. The only other component of involvement would be allowing us to sit in on your space for a day or so to observe a typical day at your space.
We would be more than happy to share our final report with participating spaces. We are specifically investigating the psychological aspects of owners/manager and members that may help spaces be successful. If you're interested in working with us please email me back ASAP.
