Hi, I've recenly bought a Brother MFC J4410 DW (it's a multifunction working both USB/Ethernet/Wifi), directly scanning over the network and printing very well both on linux and windows. I didn't have big expectations from brother, but the printer was cheap (70€) and the results are great, really surprised. And the cartridges cost just 1/3 compared to HP!
