Hi from South Philly! I am hearing from web devel and other techies that they know they need more time promoting their work---but all their love and energy goes into their work.
I'm also hearing from young new social media types (mostly talented interns from local universities) who LOVE to promote a project or a person they believe in--but are having trouble linking up with someone where they can really show what they do and build a portfolio. It's got me thinking...should we do meet up...like (don't laugh) a speed-dating. A meeting where everyone brings their projects and their skills, puts it up on the board, and we try to make matches? I can offer my space at 11th & Morris for the meet up! Any thoughts? Any interest? thanks!
