Mike, Sorry to hear, but it has to be freeing too. I am in Bozeman, MT a nonmetropolitan area, but a university town and our center remains in the black, but isn't raking in a lot of income like some of our successful entrepreneurs. It is meeting a niche for independents and those seeking unique space options for board meetings, training, coaching, and artistic events. We have been able to help entrepreneurs and some nonprofits grow to the point where they need space of their own.
I admire your commitment over the years and our impact or seeds planted aren't always visible. Good luck in your next venture. I have appreciated the group, the classes Alex, Adam, and Tony have done and the continued success and growth in some pockets of the world. I love working in a coworking space when I travel. Cheers to you and many others that have the vision even if it doesn't materialize as we expect. You are heroes!
