Hi Will,

some of the data of the 4th GCS has been already analyzed:

however, the analysis couldn't completed yet due to annoying paperwork as
result of the insolvency of Deskwanted.

Deskwanted lost its "funding", not Deskmag. Both companies have been
separated from each other. The investor of Deskwanted agreed to a monthly
budget, but didn't transfer this money accordingly, which caused the
insolvency of Deskwanted in order to take over the product of Deskwanted
(not the company). The investor also wanted to take control of Deskmag
unofficially, via Deskwanted and its founders, but it was never, at any
point, a part of the investors contract with Deskwanted. Unofficial control
means, Deskmag was forced to promote Deskwanted for free by converting it
more or less into a Deskwanted Blog. Although the investor put a lot of
pressure to do so, I disagreed with it since it never would have a good
impact on both Deskmag or Deskwanted. If you are interested, I can write
more about it, but's a complex story which unfortunately couldn't be
finished yet. In fact, it's still a time-consuming procedure which also had
a bad impact on the recent development of Deskmag, it took a lot of time
and mental power which was missed to invest into the wider analysis of the
Global Coworking Survey etc. It's still on the way, but unfortunately
slower.

The 5th Global Coworking Survey started with a soft-launch a few days ago
on www.coworkingsurvey.com to keep the annual structure of the survey going
as promised. It also will be officially more promoted this and next week.
The analysis will take more time, but's better than pausing the survey.
