"General business liability insurance" is sort of a misnomer because insurance is designed to protect you from specific things...or not. We have specific components in our liability insurance that covers alcohol and specifically alcohol at events on-site AND off site - so you *absolutely *want talk to your insurance agent about the specifics of what you're going to be doing.
