Woohooo! Partayyyyyy! :) :)

Well, we do have a lot to celebrate this year. There's a lot that I'm
thankful for, and grateful for. It's been, hands down, our best year yet.
And next year will be 10 years. That's crazy to me.

And even so, the last 4 months of our *best year yet* have presented a
challenge that I know isn't *entirely* unique. A challenge that's had me
thinking a lot about our future - not just this next year as we approach
10, but for the NEXT 10 years.

If you've been following along on my blog
<http://dangerouslyawesome.com> recently,
I've been trying to make an effort to share almost everything I communicate
with our community in public as well. The entire process has been a test of
sticking to what we do best, even when it's not the easiest.

I've been wanting to write more about that meta-process of dealing with a
challenge that impacts a community in a way that actually brings the
community closer together...instead of driving a wedge and breaking
everything that we've worked for.

But writing about that meta-stuff has been a lot harder - it quickly gets
abstract and unclear.

So I picked up a microphone and recorded a conversation with one of my
teammates about it instead. And finally....it started to make sense.

I just put the first half of that recording online - the second part is
coming soon. :)

I hope you enjoy, and I hope this helps someone out there going through a
similar challenge – or any challenge for that matter – to think about a
better way to move forward.
