Heavy man :) I left my nonprofit career to explore entrepreneur options. I came across coworking by chance and have been pursuing it for a year now. I'm drawn to it because of the open sourcing, community and collaboration - all things I had in the nonprofit world. It fits me.
Now that I'm in tune with the freelance and entrepreneur community, where I live and want to open a space, I feel it's 'a duty or service' (that's the Veteran in me) to serve this community. Our community (north of Austin) is growing, wants a stronger entrepreneurial community and spirit - a cowork space can do that. Engage Cowork exists to bring entrepreneurs together, inspire action, and generate success. Success is personal, but work doesn't have to be.
