After giving it a lot of thought, my space is finally considering offering a virtual membership - basically providing a physical business mailing address, mail scanning & storage service, event access and a few hours of conference room time each month. When thinking through how this would work however, I realize that these businesses would be giving us permission to actually open, scan and send copies of their physical mail (which sets off a few alarms in my head from a legal perspective). Does your space offer virtual memberships like this? If so how do you tackle this issue? And of course if not, what kinds of services do you offer?
