For years we provided these virtual offices w/o filing a CMRA w/ the USPS, but 
we complied w/ the requirements should we get audited.

We are in the process of filing now.

So the answer is
        - it’s not critical, but it’s ideal
        - no individually locked mailboxes required. We put all of our 
“mailboxes” in a locked room.
