Hi Alex,

Just feedback about this for what it's worth, from someone who probably
doesn't understand what's going on:

Having two separate lists that are basically doing the same thing, using
the same name, but that are independently administered seems
counterproductive to me. It divides rather than unites. It forces me to
choose, which makes me less likely to want to sign up to either list. It
suggests the two projects are competing rather than supporting each other,
which is contrary to the spirit of the coworking visa and so reduces my
trust in the intentions of both groups (or would, if I hadn't been around
since the start of the original and didn't already know the good intentions
that went into that).

I can understand that there are things that aren't perfect about the
original coworking visa, but if you're going to use the same name and
concept, wouldn't it be better to contribute to helping make that list
better rather than to create an alternative platform with completely
different administrators? Knowing some of the people behind that original
project, I imagine they'd love the help and it would be a win-win.

Or what am I misunderstanding assuming I've got it wrong?

Best,
Will
