Dear Captains & Coxes Please be aware it is Strawberry Fair this weekend. We advise crews to take extra care when out over the next few days and to make sure you have mobile phones with you when coxing in case of any incidents. If there are any violent incidents you should call the police immediately and they will also be out patrolling along the river.
Please make sure to lock up boathouses securely and perhaps avoid cycling along Midsummer Common when coaching as it will be busy, instead meeting crews further down the river. Tom Grimble CUCBC Honorary Secretary
