The flag is Green. There are no restrictions on which crews may boat.
Outlook: The good news is the towpath is in much better shape and the visibility is excellent. The bad news is thereâs still a lot of ice. Thereâs a navigable channel all the way to the Plough, then quite a lot of ice just upstream of Grassy, but if you can push through that itâs clear all the way to the lock. Some sections are not wide enough for two boats to pass, so use caution when passing! If it stays as it is, itâll be yellow tomorrow to limit traffic. Itâs quite possible itâll refreeze overnight though, so may have to go back to red/yellow. The CUCBC Committee
