I was just curious what the common custom for this situation is. My
company still uses an old module called PostScript::Basic, that may well
be replaced by other great packages, however we haven't taken the time
to look into this. Recent I was working on such a script that implements
usage of it and I found that I didn't have this module installed on my
workstation for testing. To my suprise it was no longer in CPAN. I dug
up an old copy from our archives, packaged it, and built it for Debian
in all of about 5 minutes. (no major inconvenience)

My question is what was the process that gets modules removed, for what
reasons etc? Also, if I end up maintaining this script for my company,
would it be customary for someone like myself to resumbit it to CPAN via
PAUSE and maintain it, or should I just let it die publicly ?

Any input you may have would be helpful.

Thanks,
Aaron Mitti
