Thanks, fixed in my copy. Both curl and lynx could make CPAN.pm
believe that a download actually succeeded although it didn't. For
curl the fix was easy by adding a few commandline switches. For lynx I
had to apply some heuristics.

I'll note I've also seen Net::FTP on two different occasions spuriously throwing 404s out when it should have been something else. This 404 bubbles up through LWP.
