As I mentioned earlier I think one of the improvements
CPAN Testers need is diversity. That is, to get more people
to send in reports from various platforms.

So I wonder besides the warm feeling of giving back to the community
how else could we get more people to send reports?
I am not talking about more smokers, I am talking about people installing
CPAN::Reporter and sending reports whenever they try to install a module.

One thing I keep telling people is that if they want to install a module and it
fails, it is great, that without any extra work on their part, they have already
sent a report to the author (even if that is going to be via a central server)
so next time they want to install the module it might have been fixed already.
(I know I am bit optimistic with this :-)

So I am looking for other reasons for someone to send these reports.

We might also provide an interface for the testers to see all kinds of
statistics based on the reports they sent in.
E.g. what kind of modules have they installed, when, which platform.
Success/failure etc.

We can go further and allow them to subscribe to a service to alert them
when a new version of one of these modules comes out. Especially if
the new version changes the failure/success status of the module.

What else is there for an arbitrary Perl user to get her start sending reports?
