We could go a step further and have a machine-specific GUID.   Then
smokers would copy their user profile to each machine and a local
machine ID would get auto-generated and stored if it doesn't exist.

I also would like to eventually start using
Config::Perl::V::signature() to better identify particular perl
builds, but that probably needs to wait for the 2.0
client/report-harness since the construction of a 2.0 Report fact
might not be done by the same perl that generated the original report.
