I've started to monitor the tester feeds, so we can see how well we're doing to get people moved across to the HTTP submission mechanism. After Chris switched more of his bots on 10th July, we've seen a drop to around 2500-3500 reports a day for SMTP submissions. Current top testers that should try and set up the HTTP mechanism for their submissions are:
1714 Jeff Workman, 709 Serguei Trouchelle (STRO), 533 Yi Ma Mao (IMACAT), 244 David Cantrell (DCANTRELL), 115 Jost Krieger (JOST) The numbers represent the number of reports submitted yesterday by each tester. We're seeing a lot of isolated submissions each day, so I assume these are people who are installing via a CPAN-Reporter enabled CPAN.pm. Over the next month, I shall post submission stats fairly frequently, so we can keep tabs on who needs nudging. For those interested, the full submission stats for yesterday are: # # date / HTTP submissions / SMTP submissions / testers submitting via # SMTP # 20100719 2892 3660 [1714] Jeff Workman, [709] Serguei Trouchelle (STRO), [533] Yi Ma Mao (IMACAT), [244] David Cantrell (DCANTRELL), [115] Jost Krieger (JOST), [89] MBlackman + localhost ((Mark Blackman)), [60] Gintautas Grigelionis, [34] Bernt Guldbrandtsen, [24] Ruslan U.
