Dear CPAN Testers- We're planning a New Year's release of PDL-2.4.10 which offers significant performance improvements, bugs fixed, and new features.
These improvements could not have happened without the CPAN Testers feedback for the different platforms, OSes, and perls. But, we have few reports from testers with fortran compilers. Fortran is used for a number of the key numerical components of PDL. We would invite any interested smokers to add a fortran compiler to their build tools and let us see what breaks for us in the run up to PDL-2.4.10. :-) Thanks, Chris Marshall PDL-2.4.10 release manager
