Barbie, Thanks very much for the detailed reply. I'd read your earlier blogs about the Amazon SimpleDB problems, but somehow came away with the understanding that they were historical rather than ongoing. Obviously it's the latter.
I promise to be more patient. I recall a time (only a few weeks ago??) where things seemed to be updated almost in real time. I guess I got spoiled. Thanks for your efforts! Diab
