Guys,
I'm sure this has been covered before, but I don't remember the answer
... Why do the stats from the author page not match the stats from the
distro page? For instance, as of this writing, this:
http://cpantesters.org/author/B/BAREFOOT.html#Method-Signatures
tells me I have 47 passes, while this:
http://cpantesters.org/distro/M/Method-Signatures.html
tells me I have 46 passes. Similarly, all my distros don't match
between the two pages. (Well, except for Test-File, which, weirdly,
doesn't show the latest version on the author page. So it's still off,
just in a different way.) It's more common for me to see more reports
from the author page, but I do currently have at least one distro where
the distro page has more. But obviously I have a very small sample
size. :-)
I guess more important than "why" is "can it be fixed?" It's happened
several times now that I see several fail reports on my author page, so
I go to the distro page where I can narrow down the view, perhaps limit
by OS and see if all the Windows versions are impacted, or maybe only
certain versions of OSX, but then I don't have all the fails that were
on the author page. Which is a bit frustrating. Is this one of those
things that's difficult to fix?
