inside Doit::Sudo::do_connect. Given that it is described as a
"scripting engine" it may be  a legitimate use, but I'd rather not be
running tests that sudo.

It's not the only thing that wants to sudo. Every so often something asks me for a password, either to sudo or to ssh to localhost or something along those lines. I just bounce on the enter key or leave it to time out, and don't consider it to be a big problem.
