Hi! I am doing SDL (Security Development Livecycle) as my main job, and I
decided that I should to things I know for my favorite perl language too :-)

I started digging into it, and found out that tools that is used for testing
does not pass tests on modern perls.

For example CPAN::Reporter::Smoker does not pass tests on perl 5.36 and 5.38

Though there exist Pull Request that probably fixing it
https://github.com/cpan-testers/CPAN-Reporter-Smoker/pull/12 (I did not test
it yet). But it is 1.5 years old, and nobody applied it.

I've tried to contact David Golden dagolden-at-cpan.org, but my mail have been
returned with "User unknown" error.

Can we fix it somehow? I can fix it myself, if I have sufficient rights, or I
can
do it with somebody checking and submitting the code, or any other way you
like.

My PAUSE id NATARAJ
my github profile is https://github.com/nataraj-hates-MS-for-stealing-github

If for some reason you'd like to see my FOSS projects, they are on gitlab:
https://gitlab.com/dhyannataraj

Hope we will manage to solve that Smoker problem...
