Thanks for the feedback Larry

I am aware of problems with XML::Simple's lack of portability
to MacOS.  I have got half the problems solved (File::Basename
to the rescue) but may need help with the other half.  Can you
suggest a friendly forum for communicating with MacPerl users?

Also, I note that you tested Version 1.00.  Version 1.01 is out
but I don't suggest you waste your time testing it because it
doesn't address any of the outstanding MacOS issues.
