I didn't see a PAUSE report for readonly-1.04, and CPAN still thinks 
readonly doesn't exist:

cpan> i readonly
Module id = readonly
     INST_FILE    (not installed)

It is in your directory on CPAN, so I guess Andreas will have to give 
the index a kick.

I just tried Image-Xpm-1.04 and, of course, the same problem occurred.
